Position: Pattern Maker – Fittora (Luxury-Tech Fashion Startup)

Fittora is redefining fashion by combining AI intelligence with artisanal tailoring. As our Pattern Maker, you'll be responsible for converting garment specifications into precise patterns for production. Your skill will lay the literal foundation of each piece – ensuring optimal fit, style, and minimal waste.
Responsibilities :
Develop patterns
Develop patterns on paper or CAD based on detailed tech packs from the garment technician.
Optimize fabric layouts
Determine optimal fabric layouts to minimize wastage and improve yield.
Execute accurate fabric cutting
Execute accurate cutting of fabric, aligning with Fittora’s high-end quality standards.
Modify patterns
Modify and perfect patterns during sample development and fit correction cycles.
Mark fabric flaws
Mark and flag fabric flaws and coordinate with the cutting department for clarity.
Collaborate with other team members
Collaborate with sewing teams and merchandisers to resolve construction and fit challenges.
Display mock-ups
Display mock-ups of complex operations to reduce rework or garment damage.
Skills :
Extensive Pattern Making Expertise
Deep understanding of fit, drape, grading, and construction principles.
Manual & Digital Patterning Proficiency
Skilled in both traditional (paper) and CAD pattern-making techniques.
Strong Coordination Skills
Ability to effectively collaborate with design, production, and QA teams.
Team Orientation
Collaborative mindset with a passion for teamwork.
Luxury Apparel Experience
Understanding of the specific fit and construction standards for luxury garments.
Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of pattern-making experience in luxury, boutique, or export apparel settings.
Demonstrated experience working with Western wear silhouettes.
Competent in both manual and digital pattern-making techniques.
Capacity to interpret detailed tech packs accurately.
Proficient in the principles and application of garment grading.
